That time of year again
Counting days, longing, dreaming. All over the world children of all ages are right now waiting with great expectations. However, not all of them are thinking of Christmas, some have a bigger day in mind. The day when their final cancer treatment is over. Leaving the regular visits to the hospital behind doesn’t mean they are free from the disease, but at least they won’t have to show their parents and the medical staff how bravely they are taking syringes, and they won’t have to spend long hours—even days—at the hospital. For once, they will feel a little more like other children.
